Absolute Funding Services Ltd ("we", "us") is a company registered in England and Wales, company number 17276733, with its registered office at 1a Yattendon Road, Horley, United Kingdom, RH6 7BS. We are the data controller for personal data collected through this website and for our own business contacts. Contact: enquiries@absolutefundingservices.com.
Data we collect through this website
- Enquiries. If you email us, we hold your name, contact details, organisation and the content of your message.
- Technical data. Our hosting provider records standard server logs (IP address, browser, pages requested) for security and to keep the site running. We do not currently use analytics or advertising cookies.
Why we use it
- To respond to enquiries and scope proposals (legitimate interests, and steps taken before entering a contract).
- To run and secure the website (legitimate interests).
- To meet legal and accounting obligations (legal obligation).
Data we process for clients
When we provide administrative services to a lender, we process borrower, guarantor and third-party data on that lender's behalf and on its documented instructions. In that role we act as a data processor, and the lender remains the data controller. The terms of that processing, including security, sub-processors and retention, are set out in each engagement agreement. Data-subject requests relating to a lender's loan book should be directed to the lender.
Sharing
We share personal data only with service providers who host our website and email, and with professional advisers, regulators or authorities where required by law. We do not sell personal data.
Retention
Enquiry data is kept for up to 24 months after our last contact unless an engagement follows. Client engagement data is retained for the period set out in the engagement agreement and applicable law, typically six years after the engagement ends.
International transfers
Our website and email providers may process data outside the United Kingdom. Where they do, transfers are covered by adequacy regulations or appropriate safeguards such as the UK International Data Transfer Agreement.
Your rights
Under UK data protection law you can ask for access to, correction or erasure of your personal data, object to or restrict processing, and ask for data portability. You can also complain to the Information Commissioner's Office at ico.org.uk. To exercise any right, email us at the address above.
